Place of creation: Constantinople (?) 17th c.

Brought from western Armenian in 1915. Considered to have power to present children, to heal. Formerly, hair bunches of representatives of the family were kept between the leaves of the manuscript with the aim of protection. The gospel is an object of the kin’s cult, but there also are other pilgrims visiting the sanctuary. At present, stored on the territory of the private house, in a specially built chapel. In the not very distant past it was store in another village at tonratun (the room where bread is being baked).
