Brought to Eastern Armenia in the beginning of the 20th c. Considered to be healing, saving from disasters. In the sanctuary healing rituals have been performed formerly with the help of the cross containing a relic. At present stored in a private house in a special room. Nowadays it has no pilgrims, but is a sacred object for the family.
